The product

What is a focus toy?

Something small to move in your hands while your mind does something else. Most people call them fidget toys. We call them focus toys. Same object.

Are they for children or adults?

Both. It was drawn for children, and a good many are bought by adults for themselves.

How is it made?

It is printed, in one piece, in the studio in Tallinn. Nothing is moulded, glued or assembled. There is no mechanism in it: the ribs move against each other.

Do you make different designs?

Yes. We are testing new designs in Tallinn. Write to us if you are looking for something specific.

Are they noisy?

Not loud, and not silent either. There is a soft sound as the ribs move past each other, and nothing on it clicks or rattles. Dropped on a hard floor it is audible, and in a quiet room everybody looks up.

Do they help with concentration?

We do not make that claim. Some people find it easier to sit through something with their hands busy. That is the whole of what we know.

Safety, care and repairs

What is it made of?

One printed piece of plastic, and nothing else. The safety page has the full list of what is not in it, and what that means for a small child.

Is it safe for a child under three?

It is not suitable for children under 36 months, and that includes the Krippe. Not because it comes apart: it is printed in one piece with no small parts in it. It is rigid plastic with defined edges, and that is the reason.

What if my child chews it?

It is not a teether and it is not made to go in a mouth. A child who chews things habitually will damage it, and may hurt themselves doing it.

How do I clean them?

Wash it with soap and water, and let it dry.

Will they break?

Not in ordinary use. It is printed as one piece, so there is no joint to work loose and no part to lose, and children test every version before anybody else gets one. Force it across the ribs and it will crack.

Can I get a spare part?

There is nothing to replace and nothing to repair, because it is printed in one piece. If one arrives damaged, write to us with a photograph.

Buying

Where can I buy one?
Why can I not buy them on this website?

Because a company this size has no room to run a shop as well as a studio. Amazon takes the payment, the delivery and the returns.

What do they cost?

Please check the current price on Amazon.

How long does delivery take, and what about returns?

Both are Amazon's. If something is wrong with the toy itself, tell us as well.

Do you sell to schools and companies?

Yes, directly. Classroom sets and branded orders are quoted case by case and invoiced, and neither is listed on Amazon.

Can I stock them in my shop?

Probably. Larger and custom orders come directly from the studio rather than through Amazon. Write to us with the quantity and roughly when you need them.
